Google Digital Unlocked is a digital marketing
certification from Google that teaches digital marketing fundamentals and
covers a wide range of topics from search, advertising, mobile, social, content to video, e-commerce and analytics.
Structure of the course
The course has 26 topics in the form of short video lessons describing
key concepts and best practices for each digital marketing area. The videos range
from 3-5 minutes in length. Every lesson is followed with a quiz modeled on real-world
situations to apply your knowledge. All the 26 topics must be studied
thoroughly and the quizzes passed in order to receive the certification.
Apart from the quizzes, there are ‘put into practice’ exercises
at the end of each topic with a set of tasks to reinforce your
understanding of the topic. The tasks can be done later or skipped (not mandatory
to receive the certification), but it is recommended that you work on these
exercises to develop practical skills.
